Before trying these tricks and moves submitted by stallers all over the world we advise you to read "Footbag Dance" online for free which explains the basics for the Bloughchi style of kicking and then learn the standard stalling moves below.
1. Outside Kick - When the footbag is falling on either the right or left side of your body, bring the respective foot up and strike the footbag with the outer side of your shoe...if your shoes have flat sides, you can place the footbag anywhere...kicking the bag a bit lower than normal adds power to the kick.
2. Inside Kick: When the footbag is falling in front of you, close to your body, strike the footbag with the inside of a foot...most shoes have a cavity on the inside surface and try not to kick it there because it throws the bag off course...after practice you'll make this kick by instinct.
3. Toe Flick: Master this with both feet and you can often connect with the footbag at the last moment. When the bag is very low to the ground, stand on the leg furthest from the bag's arc...at the same time raise and bend the other leg at the knee, then swing the lower leg forward so that your toes flick up at the bag while keeping your ankle loose.
4. Toe Delay (Toe Stall): When the footbag falls in front of you, raise either one of your feet up to meet it by letting it it impact on your toe gently...it's best to bend your support leg slightly to increase the cushioning effect but you don't really need to do that.
The basics above (& 2 combos) were submitted by Mark B. who won a Stalling Star.
