The Knee

Always Start From the Stance

The Knee High Knee Kick

The knee is used in a very subtle manner by just raising it to meet the footbag. The use of the knee is very effective as it slows the footbag's speed by 90%. This gives you easy control of its downward motion after a kick of considerable height. The stance is always the same: knees slightly bent and always facing the footbag. (Refer to illlustrations S and T). You cannot reach out too far with your knee so the footbag must be blocked close to the body. The knee works well but you must consciously use it or you will forget it is there.
