Variations in Routines
1. Five Point Seat Belt - Start with a right inside kick and make it go over your right shoulder to a right Back Stab kicking it back over your head to a left inside kick that goes back over your left shoulder to a left Back Stab kick. Make sure that kick gets the footbag to your right foot and then do a full rainbow. A rainbow is when you use a right (or left) outside kick and make it go over your head to do a left (or right) outside kick, making it go back over your head to another right (or left) outside kick, and so on. Then finally do a pendulum and then keep playing. A Pendulum is where you stall the footbag on your toe and swing that leg behind you and flick the footbag over your head in front of you Nick W. submitted this combo trick and won a free Worlds Logo Stalling Star AND a FireFly footbag.
2. The Swoop Stall - First you start out with a regular toe stall. Next, flick the footbag up to about just under waist high. When the footbag reaches the peak of its height, throw the same foot you used to toe stall with over the top of the footbag, turning your body 90 degrees and leaving the falling footbag coming down next to your side. As the footbag is quickly falling, turn your body another 90 degrees very fast so your back is to the footbag. After the turns, quickly take the same leg that you toe stalled with and went over the footbag with and swoop it behind you to catch the footbag in a "Jester". Flick the footbag up and over your head and continue kicking in the new direction.
3. Spin the Funky - Start off with a toe stall on the left foot and pop it up. Inside kick it with the right foot to an outside kick straight up in the air. Do a full spin to the left and inside kick it again with the right foot. Then connect with it to do a rainbow (with an outside right kick) over to an outside left kick. Pop it back over to an inside stall with the right foot. Pop it up for a right footed Clipper (that's where you jump up and put your kicking leg under your jumping leg and inside kick it - AKA Jester) to another player. Voila!
4. Outkast Jester - Start out by first doing a Jester with the left foot kicking the footbag and make it go to the right outside. Then, stall the footbag on the outside of your right foot. Next flick the footbag over your head doing a Rainbow. Then do another Jester but kick the footbag with your right foot, then stall the footbag on the outside of your left foot. The, finally, do a Super Jester. Then keep kicking. Note: A Super Jester (also known as a Misty Kick or Impossible Jester) is where you jump and make your right or left leg go over your footbag, then you kick it with the opposite leg with the style of a Jester. Drew J. submitted this combo trick and won a free Stalling Star and a 5P deCinco as prizes. This is a whole series of moves and explanations.
5. Spinning Rainbow Jester Stall - With the footbag still on the ground, stand to the left of it with your feet about 2 inches apart. Then, using whichever foot you feel comfortable using, sideways "Chicken Scratch" (a "Chicken Scratch" is where you take your foot and quickly drag the tip of your toe towards yourself and over the top of the footbag on the ground, then quickly toe flick it up causing it to rise straight up in front of you) the footbag over your right foot (don't do the toe flick just yet, cause you will mess up the trick). Once the footbag has gone over your right foot (assuming that's your dominant foot) bring your left foot straight up causing the footbag to go in front of you. Then toe stall the footbag with your opposite foot, toe flicking it up into a toe stall on your dominant foot. Then toe flick it up once more but this time as the footbag is falling, jump over it and catch the footbag in an inside foot stall BEHIND you. You then pop it up and over your shoulder while turning 90 degrees. When it hits about waist height you inside stall the footbag again with the foot you are catching it with, BEHIND your other leg (so looking like you are doing a "Jester" but not actually jumping -- a "Jester" is where you hit the footbag up then jumping up with one foot, you bring the foot you left on the ground straight up and under you as if you are trying to sit cross legged in the air while having the other leg straight forward with a slight bend in the knee). You then pop it straight up, spin a full 360 degrees, and do another inside foot stall in the "Jester" position. Do this about three times but on the 4th time instead of just catching it in an inside foot stall, let it get almost all the way to the ground and then do the inside foot stall (I like to call this the Jester Stall). Pop it over to your opposite side and Jester stall it again on that side. Then once more pop it straight up into a revert Jester (this is where you wrap your leg around the footbag from the inside out, BUT IT HAS TO BE USING YOUR NON-DOMINANT FOOT TO HIT THE FOOTBAG) and finally finish the combo by "Zombieing" the footbag to yourself and then continuing kicking it or pass it off. (A "Zombie" is where the footbag falls and hits the ground in front of you but you INSTANTLY "Chicken Scratch" it straight up to yourself --- by instantly I mean within about 1/2 second after it hits the ground). Mike B. submitted this combo trick and won a free Worlds Logo Stalling Star.
6. Twister - Start this trick with a hand spring pass facing a wall so it will bounce back towards you. Get back to your feet and rotate 180 degrees and catch the footbag on the back of your neck. Next, jump up into the air causing the footbag to pop off your back. Rotate another 180 degrees and catch the footbag on your neck again (you may repeat this spinning part as many times as you wish). Next jump up into the air again, but this time rotate and drop to the ground to catch it in a lap stall (a "Russian"). Now, raise and tilt your body so that the footbag will roll up your chest and stall it underneath your chin. Lastly, stand upright and drop it into a Jester (either side) and continue kicking. Mike T. submitted this combo trick and won a free Worlds Logo Stalling Star.
7. Ten Point Seatbelt
To execute this trick you first have to start with a right inside kick and make it go over your right shoulder to a right Back Stab (where you kick the footbag with the bottom of your shoe making it go back over your head). Your Back Stab should kick it back over your head to a left inside kick that goes back over your left shoulder into a left Back Stab kick. Make sure that the kick gets the footbag to your right foot and then do a full Rainbow from there. A Rainbow is when you use a right or left outside kick and make it go over your head to do a left or right outside kick, making it go back over your head to another right or left outside kick and so on and so forth. From there, kick the footbag to a right inside kick then to a right outside kick ( a Mini-Rainbow) doing two full Mini-Rainbows. Then kick it to a Flying Clipper Rainbow and do that two times. A Flying Clipper Rainbow is a Rainbow with Flying Clippers on each side. After that do a right outside foot stall (or left depending on which foot you started the Flying Clipper Rainbow with) and pop that up into a left toe stall. Then with your left foot, you push the footbag onto the inside of your right foot (be careful of spraining your ankle!). Then, cross your left leg in front of your right leg and finally you lift your right foot like you are kicking your behind which should get the footbag to go in front of your where you keep kicking!!! Jeff L. submitted this combo of tricks and won a free Stalling Star.
8. The Mystery Meat
Start with a left toe stall and switch to a right toe stall. Then to an inside right stall. Throw up the footbag to do a right foot Jester and catch it with a left toe stall. Flip the footbag up and stall it on the back of the neck. Let the footbag roll off the right shoulder and stall it with a left foot Jester. Flip it up to a right foot Rainbow and hit it with a right foot Jester.
9. Sick Combo
Start with an Around the Back start to a toe stall on the right foot. Toss the footbag over to the left side and do a Clipper and spin the right leg back around to an inside stall. Flip the footbag to a knee tap to outside stall. Rainbow the footbag to an opposite outside stall, then toss the footbag into the air and jump to the left foot and Flying Clipper (Jester) the footbag with the right foot to a right leg knee stall. Let the footbag roll to an outside stall on the right foot. Flip the footbag to a heel stall and do a Scooping Clipper. Catch the footbag in a hat and put the hat back on with the footbag inside and walk away. Jacob W. submitted 3 tricks and will receive a free Stalling Star and a deCinco.
10. Acer Power Combo
Hold the footbag in your dominant hand. Toss it up and bounce it off your knee and stall it on your dominant toe. Kick the footbag off your toe and swing your dominant leg all the way around the bag (Around the World) and stall it on the inside of the same foot. Kick it up into an Angel Stall (see Jester). From the Angel Stall kick it up and stall it on your nondominant toe, swing your foot back and stall the bag on the heel of your non-dominant foot. Then kick the bag up behind you and stall it on the heel of our dominant foot. Kick the bag off your heel and stall it on your dominant toe and do a Pendulum. When you do the Pendulum, bend your knee early and the bag should go straight into the air. As the bag is coming down, with your dominant leg you do a toe stall. Flick it up and catch it. Neil Jr. submitted 3 tricks and won a Worlds Stalling Star.
11. Tiltless Rage
Begin this by either simply tossing the bag up or setting it up from a toe delay (stall) and drop it into a clipper stall. A clipper stall is an inside stall in the cross-body position which means that your stalling foot is around behind your support leg and you catch the bag on an inside delay. Bend the support leg and cushion the bag by lowering the stalling surface to meet the bag. This stall takes a lot of practice. Delay the footbag like that and then flick it back up in front of you to a Pendulum with the same foot. (See Pendulum menu for explanation). This means that after the clipper stall, you'll have to bring the stalling foot back around your support leg and catch it for the Pendulum. As you finish the Pendulum, the bag will be coming up over your head, then turn either 90 degrees to the left or to the right and perform a rake. Basically a rake is when you are following the falling footbag with your foot on the side of your body and then scooping it towards the front of you before it hits the ground. At the end of the scoop you release the footbag straight up in front of you by stopping your leg. You can continue kicking from here as it is directly in front of you - a good setup for any continuation. Basics (& 4 combos) submitted by Mark B. who won a Stalling Star.
12. Body Stall
Begin this trick with a toe stall. Flick the footbag straight up above your head and stall it on your forehead. From here you need to look forward while leaning backwards so that the footbag will roll down and land on your chest. Next, crouch down into a squat position with your thighs pressed together. The footbag should roll down your stomach and land in this crevice that is created with the crouch. Now you have to gain your balance and pop your thighs up staying on your right foot. The left leg should squeeze just over the footbag before you land on that foot to then bring your right leg underneath and stall the footbag in a right footed Clipper stall (this is also known as a crouching butterfly). Finally, it is my personal preference to end by setting the Clipper stall up and back over toward the right leg where you can then circle the footbag from out to in and stall it on your right toe. People will be impressed! This was submitted by Chris M. who won a Stalling Star.
13. Tsunami Death Combo
Start off performing a Rainbow then pop it up and stall it on the outside of your left foot. Kick it up into the air and Jester it to yourself catching it in a nose stall and let it drop to an inside foot stall. From there you begin to spin on your support foot, using the momentum to keep the footbag pinned against your foot. Spin as fast and smooth as you can to keep it there. Spin seven times. Then, if you are not too dizzy, pop it up and perform the Pendulum to serve it to the next person.
